The owners of the winery decided to call their wine SORT, because this word reflects the main task - the production of single-varietal wines, in which the individuality of each variety will be emphasized. The creators of the project wanted each consumer to be able to find their own SORT.
TERROIR
The horizontal imprint emphasizes the uniqueness of the location - on Mount Sukhaya. 15 km from the Black Sea, the peak of Sukhoi Mountain (160 meters above sea level).
Soil with a thin fertile layer under which there is an occurrence of limestone and sandstone with a high content of carbonate and clay.
VINEYARD
The total area of the vineyard is 26 hectares.
The seedlings came from the Rauschedo nursery.
Cultivated varieties:
– chardonnay 4 hectares
– sauvigne blanc 4 hectares
– shiraz 8 hectares
– Cabernet Sauvignon 10 ha
WINERY
Modern winery licensed in 2019. The arsenal of the plant has everything necessary for the production of white and red wines.
